Bonded fabric / “Isovel” fabric

“Isovel” fabric.W is the PRODUCT INNOVATION in the market of insulants for different branches of national economy. ( «Iso» is derived from “isolation”, “vel” comes from the name of the VELAM company as the owner and manufacturer of the unique fabric, and “W” denotes “warm”). Isovel.W® - is a polyester fiber bonded fabric, resulting from the unique technology of formation and thermofixation.

According to the estsablished system of classification of heat insulating materials Isovel can be classified as:
- material of fiber structure by its structure;
- masonry and roll material by its form and layout;
- organic by the type of raw material (but note that at destruction temperature more than 110 degrees Celcium linear thermal expansion is absent;
- extra light (EL) , marked D 15,20,25,30,35, 40,45,50,55,60 by its compactness.
Fabrics and products having numerical value of compactness not in line with the above mentioned marks belong to the higher next mark.
- A class thermal conductivity (low) < 0,058Вт/(m *К)
- nonflammable by flammability.
Isovel is a fabric with stable physical mechanical properties, which doesn’t educe toxic substances and dust in quantities exceeding admissible concentration limit and has standartized humidity. The fabric consists of originally shaped polyester fibers 30 to 64 mm long. It is high-porous, contains up to 95% of void volume. Though it is a polymerization product, Isovel doesn’t demand foaming processing and pore agents. Production of heat insulating materials may simultaneously form additional fiber layers closing the pores (cavities) of the fabric. Isovel doesn’t demand additional anticeptic preparation nor supplementary processing due to the high hydrophobic characteristics. Use of Isovel.W besides of thermal energy economy allows sufficient reducing of weight and thickness of frame filling as well as expenses at basic materials and transport and raise acoustic insulation.
